An excellent place for a day trip Antelope Island is one of the finest jewels in the Wasatch Valley. The white sandy beaches are perfect for sunbathing or one can take a dip off the shore in the salty lake. Mountain biking and hiking are popular on the trails where wildlife abounds. Kayaks are also available for rent.

the great salt lake ,

A unique natural phenomenon the Great Salt Lake is one of the perks of living in the area. Boat owners can keep their boat in the marina in the Great Salt Lake Park and take it out as they wish. One can also sail or drive via the causeway out to Antelope Island.

jordan river parkway ,

Whether looking to do some canoeing, take a walk, or bike through the wetlands the Jordan River Parkway is an excellent trail to follow. Picnic tables, canoe marinas, and restrooms are available along the trail.
