LOOKING AT HIMSELF IN THE MIRROR, Jason chuckled a little bit and rolled his eyes. So this was what he would look like in a couple years on a daily basis. Turning around to look at his fiancé, he raised a hand to brush his hair from his eyes, flipping his head a little bit as he did. His hair was getting longer to the point that he knew he was going to need a hair cut rather soon. The thought annoyed him a little bit; his hair always looked so awkward for a week or so after it first got cut. It wasn’t anything he couldn’t survive through, though. If he didn’t get it cut when it started getting really long, it simply looked bad. He’d rather suffer for a week than look sloppy. All thoughts of getting a haircut were pushed from his mind when he turned around to see Annie walking into the room and he raised one of his eyebrows, a little smirk on his face as he slid the stethoscope from around his neck as he walked over to her. “Well, we don‘t have to go to the party. We could stay home and play doctor tonight,” he teased, kissing her forehead. Shaking his head, he laughed and headed out of their bedroom, heading down the stairs.
“WHAT'RE YOU DOING?” JASON ASKED THE little Australian Shepherd who was sitting at the bottom of the steps, looking up at him with that “I-didn’t-do-it” look. Walking into the kitchen, he discovered what it was. One of the non-carved pumpkins that he and Ana had bought was squished against the cabinet. It would have been kind of annoying if it weren’t for the all too innocent look on the dogs’ faces. “What am I going to do with you two?” Jason asked, shaking his dark head. He wasn’t angry or annoyed, just rather unamused. They were dogs, it was going to happen. There was no point in yelling at them for being the mischievous animals they tended to be. Sighing, he picked up the pieces that were big enough and toss them in a garbage bag before cleaning up the rest, making sure the floor wasn’t sticky after all of the pumpkin guts had been picked up.
WHEN HE SAW ANNIE, THERE WAS a grave look on Jason’s face and he sighed. “So your dog is apparently the master of the pumpkin toss,” he said with a straight face, looking at her for about two seconds to see her reaction before he burst out laughing. “Maybe we should bring him with us and he could bob for apples or something.” Smirking, he shook his head and picked up his car keys from the little basket that Ana had suggested they keep shortly after she moved in. It had been a great idea instead of Jason searching for ten minutes before he found his keys, usually in the pockets of the pants he had worn the day before. Yes, Annie had definitely had some of the bright ideas around the house. Stepping out into the garage, he slid on a pair of his plain black converse and held open the passenger’s door for Annie, waiting for her to climb in. Shutting the door behind her, he walked around to the driver’s side of the car and climbed into his silver Mercedes, looking at Ana with a bit of a pouty face. “I want my BMW,” he said simply, not quite sure why the sudden urge to drive his old car came over him. Maybe it was because he felt like they were going on a date again, way before they were engaged, when he had his old car. Whatever the reason, he shrugged it off and grinned, clearly in a good mood.
TAKING THE FAMILIAR ROADS DOWN TO Washington Park, he chuckled at all of the fliers up everywhere for the party. As they sat at a red light, Jason read one of them and his eyebrows furrowed a bit, an amused look crossing his face. “They make pumpkin wine?” he asked, sounding as amused as they looked. He wasn’t the most educated person when it came to different types of alcohol, but as far as he knew, it was typically grapes. Pumpkin wine was something he had never heard of before. Then again, that probably wasn’t surprising, since Ana had been shocked he didn’t know the general rules of drinking when it had become his addiction. Shaking his head, still clearly amused, he shrugged as their light turned green and he followed the car in front of him.
AS THEY GOT CLOSER TO THE park hosting the party, he grinned yet again as one of the songs they had declared “theirs” came on the radio. He couldn’t remember when it had happened exactly; as long as he could remember, Your Body is a Wonderland had been one of their songs. Shaking his head, he looked over at Ana, his eyes rolling a bit after they flickered down her body. “If some guy looks at you twice…” he started, shaking his head a bit. No, most everyone they went to school with knew that they were back together and if they didn’t know that, the ring on her finger would most definitely say something.
PULLING INTO THE PARK, HE LOOKED around, surprised that whoever set this up had really gone to the lengths they had. There was a large cornfield set up to one side with a sign that read “Corn Maze” next to it with a smaller font beneath it that you’d have to be walking past to read. That could definitely be fun, Jason thought, knowing that with his luck they’d get lost and be trapped in there forever. There was a lot more to the party than just the corn maze, too. Every walk way was lined with jack o’lanterns, some of them rather intricate. There were little booths set up, of which he could only tell what a few of them were from the parking lot as he drove around, looking for a place to park. There was the wine tasting booth that had been advertised on the one sign he had seen on the way down, a booth set up for kids to color their own masks and paint their own pumpkins and another one that had some sort of game set up inside of it. “This is one huge Halloween party,” he said with a little laugh, finally finding a place to park and pulling in. It may have been the little kid in him, but he was feeling quite excited to be there. “We have to do the corn maze thing.”

LINING HER LIPS WITH BRIGHT RED LIPSTICK, Annie puckered up, a little smirk on her lips as she examined herself before the mirror. She wasn't sure what had possessed her to go as a French maid, she'd just decided to. It was a costume she could make on her own without much trouble considering her rather large wardrobe. She'd had to buy the corset, though she figured if Jason liked it it would get used again and she was pretty sure he would. The gloves and the garter she'd also had to buy, but both were cheap and she was sure she could come up with something to do with them. Giving a little twirl she nodded her head and headed out into the bedroom to see what Jason had decided to dress up as. They'd agreed to pick costumes the other would like, but they'd not told each other what it was going to be.
SPOTTING THE WHITE LAB COAT, SHE SMILED. He'd definitely picked a look she liked. It was certainly no secret that she liked catching him in a lab coat, and hey, she liked the stethoscope hung around his neck quite well, too. Half the time the only thing that kept her calm was the odd scents that would stick to him, the worst being the formaldehyde from his gross anatomy lab. The scent always made her think of what he'd been doing fifteen minutes earlier and it sort of grossed her out to the point that when the smell was strong she made him shower before he was allowed to touch her. Still, she admired that he could do that without losing his stomach. She'd probably pass out if she ever so much as walked into that room.
AS HE STEPPED OVER TO HER SHE SMILED A BIT, resting her hands on his chest as he teased her. Leaning closer to him she smirked. "I like candy more," she teased him before he kissed her forehead, still giggling as he walked away. She took a second to look at herself in the mirror before realizing she was missing her feather duster. She walked back through to the closet where she'd set it earlier, something else she'd bought just for this so as not to bother her sinuses, or Jason's, with actual dust. Content with the complete look she walked out onto the landing and then down the steps into the foyer.
HER BLOND HEAD TURNED AS THE DOORBELL rang, smiling a bit as she walked over to the door. Pulling it back she grinned at the screaming voices of the group of kids standing on the porch. Excusing herself Ana trotted back into the kitchen, stopping in her tracks and raising a pale eyebrow when she spotted her fiancé, crouched over a pile of smashed pumpkin. At his words she looked from the mess up to his face, her face a mixture of apology and almost nervousness. She knew the growing dog could be a nuisance and she was always anxious he would make her get rid of him. "Oh Jay," she murmured, wanting to hit him when he burst out laughing. Her face eased up and she rolled her eyes, picking up the basket of candy sitting on the counter and the folding chair they'd set out earlier. "I'll be back in a sec'," she said with a shake of her head, walking back to the door and letting the kids grab from the basket.
ONCE THE PORCH WAS CLEARED OFF SHE SET the chair out and placed the candy on top, shutting the door and locking it. She clicked into the garage just as he was tightening the laces on his converse. She knew him well enough to know he'd want to open her door so she waited a second for him to do just that, teasing him with the feather duster before sliding in. Crossing her legs she snickered at the sight of her garter, touching it gingerly as he slid into the car. She would wear one for their wedding, too, for him to slip off and fling at all their unmarried male guests at the reception. She gazed at him with a half-smile at his comment. "Feels like old times, doesn't it," she mused quietly, unable to not smile when he let it go and grinned at her.
AS THEY DROVE TOWARD THE HEART OF THE city, Ana too found herself gazing at the posters, her eyes catching on the same one as Jason's. "News to me," she said in reply, her nose wrinkling, "You think it tastes like pumpkin?" She figured it probably didn't though. Regular wine had never tasted especially like grapes to her. She almost wanted to try the stuff, but if they were IDing that wasn't going to work. Shrugging a bit she realized what had brought yet another smile to his lips, giggling before quietly joining in with John Mayer. Like Jason, she only knew they'd had claims on it for some time and it would always be one of their songs. From just saying it to each other as a tease to muttering it when they were in bed together, it was at this point very much a part of them as a couple.
A SCHOOL GIRL GIGGLE ESCAPED HER AT HIS possessive comment, simply shrugging. "It doesn't really matter if they do," she said casually before her voice picked up that characteristic purr, "I have a doctor's appointment tonight." She smirked at the look that crossed his face, letting out a little sigh. With school it felt like they scarcely saw each other during the week, even though they lived together, and she missed it, alot. They only occasionally drove to school together, couldn't always take the time to eat dinner at the same time, and though they usually did manage to go to bed with each other, one of them, or both on some nights, was usually too tired to even think about that. Annie lived for the weekends now more than ever because that was their time together.
HER EYES WIDENED AT ALL THE STUFF THAT was set up, only now realizing why the party was such a big deal. They'd never had one here before now, but they'd certainly started off big. "Where did they get the corn," she asked in surprise, staring curiously. It was too dark to see much though so she figured she'd have to wait until they got closer. "Yep," she said with a little nod, her bright blue eyes gazing around. She snickered a bit when he decided they had to try the corn maze, "Us? We'll be lost for half of forever." Her eyes looked him over, "Then again, I'm not completely in opposition to that," she told him with a playful look.

]
HIS LOWER LIP STUCK OUT IN a pout when she said she liked candy more , turning to walk away before he turned back to her and giving her a little kiss on her forehead. He loved her, that was obvious enough to anyone who happened to catch a glimpse at them, but it was days like this one when he simply wanted to show her how much it really was that he loved her. He wasn’t the type of guy to just say it and get it over with, no. He loved to show her that he really meant it. Whether it was simply walking through the mall with his arm around her or snuggling up with her at night before they fell asleep, he loved doing the little things to show her that he cared.
HE WAS A BIT SURPRISED TO SEE a bit of nervousness on her face when he told her her dog had smashed the pumpkin. Hoping he could lighten the mood, he smirked and made his comment about bobbing for apples, smiling a small smile as she murmured his name. “Hey, I was kidding,” he said gently, looking at her, still slightly confused about why she seemed so nervous. For all of Ana worries about him making her get rid of Dozer, she had nothing to fear. He knew how much she cared for that dog, at times teasing her and saying she loved Dozer more than she loved him. And it was more than just that; he couldn’t stand it when people would simply abandon their pets or take them to the humane society when they got too out of hand. All it took was patience and training, things some people didn’t have or were too lazy to do. Besides, even though the large dog didn’t look like it, he was still just a puppy. He was going to cause trouble, it’s just the way he was. He was young, that was all there was too it, though both dogs knew better than to get near Jason’s piano. They had both learned very quickly that was not a chew toy.
HEARING THE KIDS AT THE FRONT door, he smiled as he finished picking up pumpkin bits. Even though he knew it was a ways off - he still had three years of school to go - he couldn’t wait to have his own kids. He had wanted them for as long as he could remember, though there for a while after Ana broke off their relationship, he had considered it a lost cause. He had told himself that he didn’t want to fall in love again because it hurt when it went bad, that Ana’s mother had been right - marriage only ended in hurt. And he wasn’t the kind of guy who was going to sleep with just anyone so he could have a kid. Like he had told Ana when they had slowly started talking again, he couldn’t see himself as a single dad, probably because he had always pictured having an entire family, the parents as well as the kids. Besides, the only thing he could have really done then was adopt and that wasn’t quite the same. He knew these next few years were going to be a bit rough to get through, especially since they hardly had time to see each other now, but once they both started working things would be easier. It wasn’t like he was going into a job like his parents where they could be needed at any time for an emergency. There might be times like that, but not at three in the morning when somebody had tried to commit suicide and needed some sort of surgery right then if they were going to pull through. There were times that he didn’t know how his parents did it. No, things would be a bit easier for him and Ana once they were both out of school. That was when they could really start thinking about starting their family.
HE SHRUGGED A BIT WHEN SHE asked if he thought the wine would really taste like pumpkins. “Beats me. I‘m not going to drink it then drive home, though,” he murmured quietly, shaking his head a bit. He couldn’t help but wonder how many people were going to get drunk that night because there was obviously going to be more than simple pumpkin wine. And how many of those people were going to drive home after drinking. He knew that even if you disapproved of it, it didn’t seem like it was that terrible until something actually happened to someone you knew. Those pictures that they show at pre-prom assemblies at high school could never happen to anyone there. Or at least it seems that way until it does happen to someone there. He was brought from his thoughts as he heard one of their songs on the radio. Glancing over at her, he grinned, singing along with one of his favorite John Mayer songs.
A SLIGHTLY WORRIED LOOK CROSSED HIS face when she said it didn’t matter if any other guys looked at her. He could be rather possessive at times, simply because he didn’t want to lose her. The concerned look was replaced with a little smirk at her doctor’s comment. “Are you sure you don‘t want to move your appointment up? I‘m sure we could find a dark spot to pull over,” he teased, glancing at her from the corner of his eye.
A CHILDISH GIGGLE SLIPPED FROM HIM when she asked where they got all of the corn. “A cornfield, perhaps?” Shaking his head, he smiled, laughing when she said she wouldn’t be opposed to them getting lost in the maze. “Oh I‘m sure we could find a dark spot that nobody else could find…” he suggested, rolling his eyes a bit. “Look what you‘ve got me doing,” he said, shaking his head. She was the only woman he had ever known who could get him to do something as crazy as suggest having sex in a corn maze.
PUTTING THE CAR IN PARK, JASON RESTED his fingers on her chin and tipped her face towards him, a little smile flickering across his lips before the pressed against hers, his eyes closing as they always did to savor the moment. His hand dropped from her chin to her neck and his lips parted, his tongue slid against hers. His heart began to race in his chest; it was like anytime they kissed she sent a shock through him that always jumpstarted his heart. He couldn’t help but let out a little wanting moan as they kissed, wishing they were back home in bed. Or that he had a back seat. Laughing to himself, he let out a little sigh and pulled away, knowing if they didn’t stop soon, it could very well escalade into something more than just kissing. Unable to help himself, he gave her a little peck before stepping out of his car with a smile. He was the luckiest man alive - he had her.
OPENING HER DOOR FOR HER, JASON grinned and held his hand out for her. A few steps away from his car, he slid his hand around her lower back, pulling her against him with a smile. Leaning over a bit as they walked, he kissed her cheek and smiled. He just couldn’t keep his hands - or his lips - off of her. “So what do you want to do first? The corn maze,” he suggested with a little laugh. “Or do you want to try the pumpkin wine?” he asked with a little frown on his face. Oh well, it wasn’t like a glass or two was going to make her stone drunk. “It‘s up to you.” He figured she could plan the night out as they went; as long as he was with her, he was happy.

ANNIE GIGGLED HARDER AS HIS LOWER LIP stuck out when she said she liked candy more. "I'm kidding, amor," she said over her laughter as he turned away. He knew she was, he had to. She smiled as he kissed her forehead before heading downstairs. She followed him down a minute later, hearing the doorbell ring when she was three quarters of the way down. Hopping down the last couple steps of the winding staircase she answered the trick-or-treaters with a grin. Their neighborhood was full of young families; if they weren't going out she doubted they'd get a moment's peace at home. Not that she would mind all that much, she just knew the dogs usually rushed the door with utter excitement every time the doorbell rang and it would get a bit tiring going from the living room to the front door again and again.
SLIPPING INTO THE KITCHEN, SHE STARED WITH wide eyes at the mess and his serious face. She supposed she knew he wouldn't really make her get rid of the dog, he knew how much she loved Dozer and had always wanted one just like him, but she still seemed to fear it with every mess he caused and piece of food he stole from the counter-top. He definitely did still have that puppy-like quality that sought out trouble though he certainly didn't look like a puppy anymore. Taking the candy she left to go back to the children on their doorstep, pulling back the door to excited little squeals. Clearly, they had already eaten some of their candy to be so hyper. Leaning down just a bit she held out the basket, letting each of them take a piece and smiling at their thank you's. The final one to step forward from the pack caught her eye with his dark curls, emerging from the brim of his pirate hat. She shook her head as he walked away, not sure why he had struck her since he really didn't look that much like either her or Jason, just had those black coffee curls. Even though she was only twenty and still had college to finish and then a year or two more after that for Jason to finish his education she still couldn't help but want it now. Not to curse herself or anything, she was just really looking forward to being a mom, and better than that a mother to his kids. Oh well, seemed as though the real birth control these days was having no time anyway and that was a good enough reason to wait a while.
STARING AT ONE OF THE FESTIVAL'S posters she mused over how the supposed pumpkin wine would taste. Her eyes slipped over to him curiously at his comment. "A little bit would be gone by the time we were ready to leave," she pointed out rationally, forever perplexed by his attitudes toward alcohol. Not that they were bad exactly, she'd just seen him go from a near t-totalist to a guy that seemed dead set on destroying his liver and then back to a complete abstainer. His aversion to driving with it in his system was obvious, of course, but just a glass of wine wouldn't impair him. Wine wasn't like hard liquor that would have you stone drunk rather quickly. It did make both of them more wanton that usual, though. Ana smirked; as though they needed to be any more so than they already were tonight.
THE BLOND'S CHEEKS FLUSHED WITH COLOR at his suggestion, glancing back at the lack of a backseat of his car. "I want your BMW," she said with a pouty look, paralleling his earlier remark. She might would do it if they had a backseat. They had on one occasion gotten a bit heated in the backseat of his old car, though it hadn't gone past some rather intimate kissing. In the front seat though anyone walking by could see right in and Annie did have her limits. Some things, like making love to him, were just too personal to let anyone see. She gazed over at him with a little sigh. Yes, her outfit was meant to be provocative, but his costume was just as tempting to her, if to no one else. She supposed she had better get used to it. He'd be wearing the same thing every day before they knew it.
HER PINK TONGUE POKED OUT AT HIS SMART Alec comment, rolling her eyes as he laughed. As he parked the car and mentioned the corn maze she had to laugh, figuring they'd get lost. And yet, the thought wasn't that bad when she thought about it, a raunchy look in her eye when she expressed that. His suggestion made her laugh, shaking her head when he blamed his lust on her. She leaned a bit closer with a smile once she'd stopped laughing. "You know what's worse," she asked quietly, slightly shaking her head, "I'm not even sure I'd say no." She laughed a bit, her look as loving as his. She'd expected it would be this way once he was so busy, and yet she'd never thought it would be quite like this to the point of suggesting sex in a car, never mind in a corn maze.
AS HE LEANED NEARER AND SET HIS FINGERS on her chin her breath caught, suddenly alert to everything. Her eyes shut before he could even kiss her, wanting all of him right then, the feeling only intensifying when his lips met hers. Her hand moved over the barrier to his thigh, her fingers curling around the loose fabric of his pants when his tongue began to toy with hers. It took everything to not mimic his sound of desire and yet it came anyway. She wasn't sure whether his pulling back was a good or bad thing, knowing they had to stop somewhere and yet she still wanted more as she stared at him with wild blue eyes, her heart just as effected. She sighed as he gave her a little peck and moved to get out of the car, chuckling. She didn't think he had a blessed idea what he could do to her.
AFTER A SECOND SHE MOVED, PICKING UP her feather duster and getting out when he offered his hand. As they began to walk up toward where the festivities were located and he pulled her to him she smiled, flashing her slightly crooked teeth. A giggle escaped her when he suggested they head first to the corn maze, knowing she'd be laughing about that all night. She looked up adoringly when he bent to kiss her cheek, her free hand resting on his back for a moment before sliding her fingers into his back pocket. She hadn't actually done that in quite a while just because it was so affectionate, but the way they were tonight she was going to have to let up on her no PDA rule just a bit. She shrugged when he asked about the wine, "Why not," she replied a touch impulsively, knowing a glass really wouldn't hurt her and at a place like this they weren't likely to be checking IDs anyway. "It'll make the corn maze funner," she teased with a giggle.

JASON SIMPLY SHRUGGED HIS SHOULDERS WHEN Annie said some of the alcohol would wear off by the time they left. “I don‘t want to risk putting anyone through what I went through,” he murmured quietly, his eyes focused on the road. Shaking his head, he started laughing. “Besides, we know my luck. We‘ll be on the way home, the alcohol won‘t completely be out of my system and I‘ll get pulled over for something or another.” It was true, his luck was not the best. He always ended up in bad situations. Well, not necessarily bad, just…well, unlucky. And usually it ended with him accidentally hurting himself in one way or another.
HE CHUCKLED A BIT WHEN SHE repeated his words from earlier. “If only you had drove today,” he said in a sarcastic tone, a smirk on his face. It took a moment, but he burst out laughing, trying to figure out how he could mess that up. When they had been getting rather heated in his backseat before, things had actually gone rather smoothly, even if it didn’t go any farther than his hands sliding up underneath the back of her shirt. “Well, I guess if I fell off of the back seat and got stuck on the floor that could be interesting…” shaking his head, he grinned. “I guess we would be safer up here, we‘d just have to find a really dark place.” Glancing at Ana out of the corner of his eye, he smirked again, wondering if that could ever happen. He supposed if things were as hectic as they were now, it was a very good possibility that could be the only time they could have together.
A LITTLE LAUGH AGAIN SLIPPED FROM him when he saw her tongue from the corner of his eye. “What? I don‘t think corn just falls out of the sky,” he joked, reaching over and squeezing her hand. All jokes aside, he too was wondering where they had found that much corn. They obviously didn’t grow it in the park; he had been to Washington park probably a dozen times over the summer, most of them after he stopped drinking, and he was sure he would have noticed corn poking out of the ground, especially corn in a quantity that large. As she leaned towards him, he let out a slow breath, already wishing the party was over so they could go back to their house. Both of his eyebrows rose when she told him what was supposedly worse and he put the car in park, looking over at her and grinning. “Somebody‘s getting a little risqué, eh?” he teased.
FEELING HER HAND ON HIS THIGH, Jason tensed a bit, his breaths shortening a bit as he kissed her. He couldn’t remember the last time he wanted her this bad as her hand tightening around the loose fabric on his pants. With one hand on her neck, Jason moved the other to her hip, his wanting noise slipping from him then. He knew if he didn’t stop, things could easily become more heated with the way the two of them currently were and there were too many kids running around the park for that. They’d have time for that when they got back to the house that night, though he definitely did not want to wait that long. However much he didn’t want to, he pulled his lips away from hers slowly, a little sigh slipping from his as he smiled at her. “Perhaps we should hit the corn maze first and get this out of our system,” he teased, leaning back in to give her a peck on the lips.
AS HER HAND SLIPPED INTO HIS back pocket, he smiled, almost feeling like he could fly. Even the weekends could be rather hectic for the two of them, especially if he had a test coming up, so it was nice to be able to spend an entire evening together, even if it felt more like one of their first dates than like they had spent quite a few months living under the same roof. He laughed when she said the wine would make the corn maze that much more fun, squeezing her gently in a one armed hug. He knew his alcohol habits had been rather extreme, going from one end of the spectrum to the other and back in the matter of two months. Honestly, he was a bit afraid that if he started drinking again, even if it was just a glass of wine or two at a party that he might revert to getting drunk again. When he had been single it hadn’t been a huge deal; it wasn’t like anyone was getting hurt because he wasn’t home. But now he had Ana to think about and the last thing he wanted to do was go out for a night of drinking and wake up the next morning in another woman’s bed. Even though that had never actually happened when he had spent the nights drinking, it had been brought up a few times by the ladies he would dance with. After a few nights he had realized that they weren’t replacing what he was missing, so he stayed away from the dance floor and turned to simply drinking. Besides, he didn’t need alcohol to make sex any better and on this night he was already craving his fiancé’s touch; he didn’t need anything to make him any more lascivious.
WRINKLING HIS NOSE A BIT AS they approached the wine booth, a bit unamused when they didn’t ask him for his ID as he took a glass and handed it to Annie. “If it‘s any good we can get some later and take it back to the house,” he suggested, deciding that having some alcohol in the house wouldn’t be terribly bad, especially something like wine that wasn’t a hard alcohol. It could at least make their evenings a bit more fun. As she tried the pumpkin wine, Jason’s eyes scanned the rest of the party, or at least what he could see. There were easily a dozen other booths set up, some with games, some with crafts for the kids, some were selling things and others were simply advertisements. He hadn’t expected the party to be quite this big. And the path ways were lit up with what had to be hundreds of jack o’lanterns sitting beside the walkways. “I wonder who carved all of those,” Jason laughed, imagining what a job that would be. Their porch had been decorated, but their pumpkins had gone uncarved, a bunch just sitting by where they sat the chair. It was probably a good thing that they hadn’t carved their pumpkins; the last thing they needed was a trip to the emergency room on Halloween because Jason sliced his finger open decorating for the holiday.

A FROWN CROSSED HER PRETTY FACE when he mentioned his wreck. Ana would hate that person, whoever he or she was, to her dying day. Sure, something good had come out of it for both of them, but she wished there had been some alternative to nearly taking his life. Anything would have been better than watching him suffer and really continue to suffer mentally well after his physical injuries had healed, at least until he'd replaced them with a whole new set of problems. She didn't want to think about that though, and thankfully he provided a well needed distraction from her thoughts with his joke. She smiled a bit before shrugging. "You'd have to drink like a bottle to show up as too high," she muttered quietly, not really talking to him so much as to herself since she knew he'd gone back to completely abstaining from the stuff. Though Ana had briefly decided to do the same there wasn't much of a reason to anymore. Her only aversion to alcohol was its effects on her judgment when it came to who she let in her pants, but if she was around Jason, as she usually was, it just worked out well for him. Her attitude had gone back to being rather relaxed about the stuff as she always had been. It just wasn't in her nature to be paranoid when she knew a single glass of something as mild as wine couldn't impair her. But, unlike Jason, she'd been drinking the stuff since she was old enough to drink out of a glass. It just wasn't that big of a deal to her.
ANABEL SMIRKED WHEN HE SAID SHE SHOULD have driven. "Darn," she mumbled jokingly with a little shake of her head. She glanced curiously at him as he started to laugh, a humored look on her face as she waited for him to explain. Annie laughed and rolled her eyes at his remark on his own talent for getting stuck in painful situations. To her memory he hadn't had trouble in the past, though then again clothes hadn't been coming off, just his hands beneath her shirt. Really though she could remember the seatbelt pressing into her butt and it had been kind of painful. She wasn't sure it was worth it again. She laughed at his conclusion, shrugging, "I guess if it's dark enough..." she teased him, supposing she couldn't completely rule it out. If things didn't slow down some she figured it could get to that point; it was already nearing that if they were joking about it like they were.
SHE COULDN'T HELP BUT SMILE IN A self-satisfied sort of way as he breathed a controlled short breath at her leaning closer to him. She knew it was terrible, but she sort of loved knowing he wanted her like that. She pressed her lips together, hiding her amusement at his raised eyebrows and grin. Toying with the silk of his tie she gazed at him with a little grin, "I'm a French maid, remember?" She smiled flirtatiously, dropping the look when his fingers touched her chin, drawing her nearer to him. With the way they were, as usual, it fast escalated to the point she almost did wish he'd just climb right over the center console and let her have her way after all. The sound of people outside the car, including what had to be children, reminded her that they weren't there alone though, and anyway, they didn't have any protection with them. Oh Ana was on the pill, but especially now that they were engaged she did not want to be walking down the aisle with a baby bump. She'd rather die than have their day spoiled by disapproving family on her side and perhaps his too, though for different reasons. It just wasn't how she wanted things, for her, for him, or for their child. Once they were married they could switch to just the pill and then nothing when they were ready, but in the mean time she preferred safe over sorry. Even so she had to laugh at his words, just shaking her head before he kissed her briefly once more.
HER SWEET BUBBLY LAUGHTER PIERCED THE air when he gave her a squeeze over her wine comment, shrugging. "Well, you know it's true," she teased him with a little sigh as they came closer to where it was being sold. She took the glass he handed her, ignoring his wrinkled nose as she took a sip, letting it linger on her taste buds for a moment. She nodded at his suggestion, starting to walk again. "It's actually kind of good. Not very pumpkin-y, though," she assessed with a little shrug. Taking another sip she offered the Styrofoam cup to him, "Want a taste?" She expected his response to be negative, and she could get his paranoia, so instead she tugged on his tie and gave him a little kiss, just barely touching his tongue with her own so they could continue walking in the process. She raised her fair eyebrows with a little smile, knowing he could taste it on her lips and tongue, "What do you think?"
TAKING ANOTHER SMALL TASTE OF THE alcohol in her cup she examined the jack-o-lanterns with a thoughtful gaze. "A pumpkin carver," she jested easily with a little titter of laughter at his look. Glancing more seriously at them she shrugged, "I think they must have been done by a lot of different people," she said, pointing first at one that was intricately carved away to look like an old woman and then another that was undoubtedly the work of a child. "Unless they just got really lazy after a while," she said with a little laugh. She almost regretted not carving their own, though there'd been things to do that morning more important than crafting ghoulish gourds.
THEY WALKED THE REST OF THE WAY UP THE pumpkin lined pathway and then back down it again, stopping once or twice to see what was being sold without finding anything irresistible aside from the wine. She also insisted on playing a game of corn toss against him, though her talent for anything involving a lot of hand-eye coordination was slim. Gazing over at the corn maze she looked back up at him and grinned. Her hand that was once again part-way in his back pocket squeezed the flesh beneath it before she spoke, "Let's go put this in the trunk first." As they walked to the car she gazed up at him with a serious look, for the most part having calmed her lust for the time being. "So what do you think of my idea," she asked him curiously, referencing what she had been pitching to him as they'd been walking, "Think your parents could swing it?" With Thanksgiving less than a month away it was now officially on her radar and as she'd been thinking for a while it didn't seem like it could hurt to mention asking his parents, and Dylan, of course, if they'd like to spend it with them, here, in Utah. She knew cost wasn't a problem, it was the Irvings for goodness sake, and she was sure doctors got vacation time and probably a good bit of it. They had the room and Annie could learn how to make a turkey she supposed. As she'd said to him earlier it would give them a chance to see everything and meet Ana's mother, and most likely Eligio, too, before their son got hitched. There would be other opportunities she supposed if they picked a date next spring instead of late this one, but since that was still up in the air and she really liked the idea anyway, she saw no harm in at least suggesting it.

AS SHE PLAYED WITH HIS TIE, he sighed, his eyes closing half way. He had never been in a relationship like this before; the only other relationship he had that had escalated to a sexual level hadn’t been nearly this intense. Sure, they had gotten rather lusty before, but it was never the way that Annie could make him. Obviously - she was the one he had made love to on their kitchen counter. No, it probably wasn’t the smartest thing looking back, but it was one of those things that just happened; he wasn’t going to plan it out, that was just a bit awkward. Maybe their hotel wherever they went for their honeymoon could decorate the bed with rose petals, but he wasn’t going to be the one to do it. The candles and flowers could be romantic, sure, but the way he saw it, it was just as good when it was spontaneous. That, and the candles might not be the best decoration with him around. There had been multiple times where there had been one lit in their kitchen or their living room and he had come close to knocking it over and catching their whole house on fire. The fireplace was the safest place for a flame with him around; there wasn’t much he could do wrong with that.
HIS HEART WAS RACING BY THE time he pulled his lips from hers and he sighed, his dark eyes looking into her bright blue ones, a little smile crossing his face. If it weren’t for the sounds of the families walking past the car, he’d be tempted to keep kissing her, even though it’d keep him wanting more. Slipping up a couple times had been stupid, yes, but he had a strong feeling her mom would not be happy if her daughter was walking down the isle with a baby bump, so no, this was not the time. Even his parents wouldn’t be too thrilled if Ana ended up pregnant before they were married. But there was more to it than just that; he didn’t want people assuming they got married because they had a child on the way, he didn’t want their kid to start asking questions when he or she was old enough and then feeling like the only reason Jason and Ana were together was because of his or her existence. No, he wanted their marriage to be because they loved each other and he wanted everyone else to know that, too.
HER LAUGH WAS SUCH A WARMING sound; no matter what kind of mood he was in, it could always make him smile. Of course, since he tended to be such a goofball, he heard it quite often, not that he would ever complain. Why she was laughing, though, made him laugh, too. “Hey, I wasn‘t saying it wasn‘t.” He could only imagine what the corn maze would be like with the two of them a little tipsy. Shaking his head a bit, he let out a quiet snort of laughter. He couldn’t see that ending well; arrested for public nudity, perhaps? No, he hoped it wouldn’t go quite that far. Both of them could be a bit concupiscent in bed, but he knew that it was something neither one of them wanted to share with anyone else in any sort of way.
JASON'S EYES WATCHED ANA AS SHE took a sip of the wine, not quite sure what to expect from her. Taking a few steps down the path with her, he looked at her from the corner of his eye as she told him her assessment of the alcohol. He couldn’t really say he approved of her drinking since she was still a year underage, not that if she was any older it would change his opinion, but he wasn’t going to make her stop. He knew that she had been drinking for years and not always in a bad way. Coming from a Spanish family, it was simply the way she grew up, unlike his family where his parents would occasionally have a glass of wine at dinner or when they went to the hospital’s Christmas party. He shook his head silently when she asked if he wanted a taste, knowing she’d be expecting that. He’d have some when they got back to the house if they didn’t jump right into something else. His lips curled upwards as she tugged on his tie, a little laugh slipping from him before she kissed him. “I think I’m going to like wearing a tie for work,” he murmured softly before her lips met his. Even though the kiss lasted less than a second, he could feel himself melting at her touch, wanting more as she teased him just by touching her tongue to his. “I think just about anything would taste good like that,” he teased, shrugging a moment later. “It‘s really not bad, though.” If he was honest, he could say he never really tasted the flavor of the alcohol he drank before, only really tasting the bitterness of it before he was so out of it he didn’t even care what he was drinking.
WALKING ALONG SIDE THE PUMPKIN LINED path, he wondered out loud, giving her a fake unamused look as she teased him just as he had teased her earlier before he laughed, squeezing her waist again. Looking at the two different pumpkins she pointed out, he nodded his head in agreement, opening his mouth to speak, instead laughing when she said what he was thinking. “You took the words right from my mouth.” Checking out a few of the other pumpkins, one with a very intricate dragon design and another with what looked like a semi difficult cat pattern, he chuckled a bit. “It would have been kind of fun to carve them and bring them down here,” he thought out loud again, kind of wishing they had at least carved them. Then again, it was probably best they didn’t instead of leaving a candle burning in them with nobody but their dogs home.
NONE OF THE OTHER BOOTHS HELD anything incredibly interesting, the only thing that really caught his eye (and that was only after Ana had pointed it out) was the game of corn hole. The game had lasted a little while, seeing as it took both of them quite some time to get to the winning twenty-one points, but it had been a fun competition between the two of them. Following her gaze over to the corn maze, he grinned before meeting her gaze, nodding at her suggestion. As the two of them headed back to his silver car, her hand in his pocket and his around her waist, he nodded his head at her questions. “I‘ll have to ask them, but I‘m sure they‘d love to come out here. They adore you and I‘m sure they‘d love to meet your mom and see where we live and everything.” He gave a little shrug, thinking realistically as he unlocked the car and opened the passenger door, setting the tall, brown paper bag on the floor before shutting it behind him and turning back to her, leaning against the car. “I‘ll have to see how much time Dylan has off from school, obviously, but I‘m sure he could miss a day or two without much of a problem.” He gave another little shrug, knowing that for something like flying out to spend a holiday with their son, his parents would have no problem taking Dylan out of school. The things that would be a bit more complicated for them to work around was their work schedules. Surgeries were hardly ever scheduled on the holidays if it could be avoided, but he knew someone would have to be on call for emergencies, just in case. Of course, there were a couple surgeons who didn’t have a family of their own who tended to volunteer for those days. “We‘ll have to call them tomorrow and talk to them about it, see if we can arrange everything for it to work.” The sooner his parents knew about it, the better, because if they hadn’t already requested off more than just Thanksgiving Day, they would be more likely to get the days off if they requested as soon as they could. Slipping his arm around her waist again, he pushed off from his car and started walking back up towards the festivities. “Does your mom want to meet them?” he asked a bit hesitantly, having no idea what kind of answer to expect. For obvious reasons, he was not Mariana’s favorite person and he didn’t really know what to expect out of a Thanksgiving with their families together. He’d have to get use to it, obviously, once he and Ana were married and everything. Both families would want to spend holidays together he was sure, especially when there were kids in the picture, but with a wedding date still to be set, he had no idea what would come from a holiday with the two different families together.

WITH A SMIRK ON HER CUPID'S BOW LIPS, SHE pulled on his tie, which she had discovered was a great way to get him where she wanted him, to close the gap in their height. The smirk turned into a little smile at his laughter and she shared in that laugh at his words, before muffling the sound by pressing her mouth to his and letting her tongue brush just barely over his. Not letting him go, she smiled at him, "And I'm going to like being married to a smoking hot doctor," she said back before freeing him with a little teasing laugh. How she did love the brilliantly terrible thing that was their lust for one another. Brilliant in that they had this sort of intense desire between them and yet they didn't have to sacrifice a loving relationship nor their closeness as first and foremost friends. Terrible in that there were times, like tonight, they could barely think of anything but that, and other times where they dropped everything and gave into that want, such as their evening in the kitchen. She wasn't sure what made them that way with each other, but she loved it and wouldn't change it for anything.
TAKING THE CONVERSATION BACK TO THE wine, she had to smile when he told her anything would taste good kissing her, flashing her white teeth as she leaned a tiny bit closer and gazed up at him. She shrugged a bit at his rudimentary evaluation, taking another sip and again letting it linger before swallowing. She'd always been taught by her mother to appreciate wine, and that was probably a lot of the reason that she just didn't see it as "drinking." She wasn't trying to get drunk, at least not usually, but rather drinking it for its taste and because she liked it. She didn't suppose though it was something Jason would ever get since he saw alcohol as a means of drowning his pain. Oh well, they were bound to disagree over some things, and this was one of them. She didn't drink often enough for it to become a divisive issue though, and it wasn't like she was going to introduce their kids to drinking since she knew he wouldn't want that.
GAZING AT THE CARVED PUMPKINS, SHE couldn't help but make a sarcastic comment at his question, just as he had earlier, though hers was not half as brilliant. She had to giggle at his unamused look, outright laughing when he dropped it. With a little sigh she gave him a more serious answer, though her comment after a moment went back to a more humorous tone. The fact that he'd been about to say the same exact thing though was what truly made it funny and once she'd finished laughing she gazed up at him with a warm gaze. Annie could swear they were soul mates at times, though that was perhaps just her sentimentality talking. With their infallible relationship and the strong love and compatibility between them it seemed clear they were meant to be together in her eyes, though she'd never thought there was such a thing as the perfect person for someone until she had been in a relationship with him for a while. She smiled wistfully when he said aloud he wished they'd carved their pumpkins. Shrugging a bit, she looked up at him, "There's always next year," she told him with a hopeful look, already looking forward to the holiday a year from now if it happened to be half as good as this one was shaping up to be.
ANABEL SMILED WHEN HE NODDED HIS head, fairly certain they would agree to fly out to Utah. She'd mentioned wanting to spend one of the holidays that winter with them, and she figured Thanksgiving would be the easier of the two. For one because Christmas was a pretty big deal to her mother, second only to Easter, and it was tied up in their Roman Catholic traditions, and she wouldn't want his family to feel awkward about that. The second reason was simply because she figured Dylan probably still got things from Santa, so that would be hard to explain, and regardless it was hard to bring gifts on a plane and she didn't want the Irving's to have to rush to get gifts once they were in Salt Lake. She in turn nodded when he said he was sure they'd love to come, unable to keep from smiling when he said they adored her. She was glad his family was so simple, balancing out her lone wolf mother. She had to suppress her ironic laugh when he said they'd love to meet Mariana, though. Surely by now it had gotten back to them that their son's future mother-in-law was a holy terror. With a little shrug she figured they'd like Utah though, or at least as much as a person could like the barren wasteland.
SHE STOOD BEHIND HIM AS HE PUT THE BAG IN the car, and when he shut it and leaned back against the car, she stepped closer, leaning herself against him. She hadn't really meant it to light any fires, though she realized rather quickly that feeling his body up against hers did just that. She let the thought go though for a moment when he mentioned Dylan, nodding a bit with a little smile; she loved that kid. He was cute as could be. She nodded at his conclusion, which was exactly what she wanted to better insure they were hopefully able to work things out. "Even if they can only be here for a couple days it's better than not at all," she said with a little shrug, pulling away so they could walk back up to the corn maze. The quicker they made it through that, the quicker they could get home and to their bed.
AS THEY APPROACHED THE CORN MAZE, HIS question surprised her and her blue eyes widened, staring at him, not really sure what to say. "I don't really know," she finally admitted with a little shrug. She'd never flat out asked and she knew her mom wasn't the most warm person with anyone, despite the fact that she instantly kissed everyone on the cheek. Shrugging again she looked to the person welcoming them into the corn maze and sliding an arm around his waist, entered the maze. Instantly they were met with a decision on which way to go and she looked to him, "Which way?" Taking his lead they went that way and she finally answered his question, "Maybe we should give your parents a little How to Deal with Anabel's Mom 101 course before they actually meet her. There's not a lot else we can do about it." She doubted her mother would try much, knowing it would upset Annie if she somehow screwed things up. "I guess we could invite Eligio. He sort of calms her..." she gazed at the new choice they had encountered to go straight or turn before heading straight. She suddenly found herself giggling once she thought about that, "How would your happily married parents take the fact that my mother has a lover," she asked him teasingly, taking the turn that was their only option, only to find they had met a dead end. She glanced around, finding they were the only ones to come this way. "Hey, we found our dark spot that no one would find," she said with a raunchy little laugh, turning to give him a kiss.

HIS DARK EYES LIT UP A bit when she mentioned next year. It was nice to know they had next year to think about. And the next year and the next and the next. Some people might say they were rushing into things because of the large bumps in their relationship in the past, but he knew they weren’t. He had never been so sure of something in his life, or at least that he could remember. Even his first love hadn’t been this strong. And it wasn’t just the lust that fueled it, though it was definitely being fueled tonight, but so much more. They weren’t just a couple, they were best friends and he had learned just how important that was. If a couple was nothing more than lovers, it wasn’t nearly as strong as if they were friends, too. Even though he and Ana had never really been “just friends,” they were definitely the best of friends now. Even though he was never the type of person to just casually date around, this, he knew, was something that would last. His parents were best friends and they were still happy even after all of the years they spent together, raising two boys with a huge age gap.
AS SHE LEANED HER BODY UP against his, he sighed, sliding his arms around her. Anytime her body was against his for any reason, his arms were around her, it was just the way he was. It took a whole lot of his self control to keep them from slipping below her waist, though, and that was rather unusual for him. He had never been the kind of guy to just sleep around; Ana was only the second woman in his life he had ever been with and she would be the last. He couldn’t imagine anyone else making him feel any more passionate than she could make him and he really didn’t want to. Like the story books made it out to be, being in love was kind of like floating on a cloud in some ways and their lust for each other only made the cloud soar higher. It wouldn’t be the same without the cloud beneath them. With her body against his now, though, it quickly reignited the flame that had died down as they walked through the park and he sighed again, wishing, just as she had said earlier, that he had a backseat in his car. Even if it ended with him wedged uncomfortably between the seats, it would be worth it. At least it would be amusing.
HIS HEAD NODDED IN AGREEMENT WHEN she said even if his parents only made it for a few days, it was better than nothing. He hadn’t realized just how much he missed them until he went to visit them a few months ago. It had been a good thing that he didn’t decide to go back to New York in the two months that he hadn’t been with Ana. If he had, he probably wouldn’t be engaged now. Yes, his friend Carter had been right when he had told him he needed to stop running eventually and even if it was just his house and his alcoholism that kept him from going back home, it had ended up being for a good reason after all.
MAKING THEIR WAY UP TO THE corn maze, he glanced at their choices of directions and grabbed her hand, laughing like a little boy as they took off down one of the paths. His little laugh burst when she suggested a course for his parents and he just shook his head. Sophie and Jake were very relaxed about most things, that’s why Jason was so easy going most of the time, and like him, both of his parents did have a more aggressive side when they were angrier, but he fought much like his dad did. Instead of really raising his voice, it was his tone that would change. He could only really remember once or twice he ever actually shouted, one of which had been shortly before his relationship with Hayley was over. His mom, on the other hand, was the shouter when it came to arguing. Sophie seemed like such a sweet woman and she really was. It took quite a while for her to snap, but when she did, she was quite feisty. He grimaced slightly, imagining how badly that would go over if she and Mariana got into a disagreement. Jake was the peacemaker, the one who would sit on the sidelines if possible, but it would not be a good Thanksgiving dinner for any of them if a strong disagreement came up. At least it was a good thing Jason had been rather straightforward and admitted to his parents all of the mistakes he had made. He wouldn’t want them to find out about those through Mariana, that was for sure.
HE NODDED HIS HEAD AGAIN WHEN she suggested Eligio could come along, turning down another random pathway in the giant maze of maize they were now trapped in, his face lighting up a bit. “Hey, I get it. It‘s a corn maze. Maze, like maize. Like corn.” Shaking his head, he laughed at himself before turning back to the topic at hand at her question. “I really don‘t think they‘ll mind,” he said honestly, giving a little shrug, pausing for a moment as they were once again forced to make a decision on which direction to take, letting his girlfriend pick this time, following behind her. “They‘re easy going people; they don‘t like to judge. They understand that people have different customs and feelings towards things. We‘ll just have to let them know ahead of time he‘s not your stepfather,” he said with a little chuckle and another shrug, guessing it would be an assumption they’d make.
JASON‘S THOUGHTS WERE PULLED AWAY FROM Thanksgiving and his family when Ana led them down a dead end, a little smirk crossing his handsome face before she kissed him. After their lips left each others, he rested his forehead on hers and grinned. “Well then…” he teased, resting his hands on either side of her hips before letting them slide down a little bit. He was tempted to pick her up so her legs were on either side of him, but he knew that would only fuel their fire even more and their little joke could end up not being a joke at all. Dropping his hands from her, he kissed her again and grinned. “Let’s get out of here so we can head home. I can’t take much more of this.”
THE MAZE WAS RATHER CONFUSING, BUT it didn’t take them all too long to find the end, though it was much too long for Jason, where they were greeted with bags of candy corn. Looking at Annie, Jason couldn’t help but laugh as he took her hand, leading her to his car. “Well you got your candy. Ready to go home now?” Holding open the silver door for her, a little shiver went up his spine as she slipped past him. Climbing in the driver’s seat, he turned on the engine, more than ready to leave. As he backed out of the parking space, his nose wrinkled a bit as the song that was playing on the radio reached his ears. He wasn’t really fond of it, so he switched the station to one of the local country stations. It took a moment for the lyrics to really register, but he burst out laughing when he realized what the song was and how appropriate it was for the two of them tonight. Walking through the front door, seeing your black dress hit the floor… His dark eyes slid sideways to look at his fiancé, darkened with absolute lust. The sooner they got home, the better - the two of them wouldn’t have been able to last much longer if she was feeling the same way he was.
WHEN THEY DID FINALLY STEP THROUGH the door to their house, Jason let out a relieved sigh, one arm pulling Annie to him, the other taking the stethoscope from his neck and setting it on the counter before it too came to rest on Ana’s body. His lips pressed against hers, parting almost before they were on hers. He almost didn’t want to make it up to their room, but he knew the couch never really worked out well for him. He often ended up on the floor when things got too heated when they were on their leather sofa. His lips still against hers, he started laughing when a completely random thought popped into their mind about a conversation they had had online ages ago, after they started talking again. His lips moved from hers to her ear as he teased her. “You know, I still don’t remember the first time we, uh, made it to third base as you put it.” He ended his tease by kissing her ear and letting his lips slip down to her jaw bone, his hands sliding down to her legs again, this time he actually did pick her up and carried her over to the stairs, though knowing better than to not let her walk up them on her own. It was hazardous to both of their health. Once they made it to the top of the stairs though, he scooped her up again, only to lay her down on their bed. Standing beside it, he slid the white lab coat off as he looked down at her, smirking. She did say she had a doctor‘s appointment, didn‘t she? “So Miss Annie, tell me where it hurts,” he purred, not unlike her, before laying down beside her, the lab coat hitting the floor behind him.

ANNIE SMILED A BIT TO SEE HIS EYES LIGHT UP at mention of next year, already wondering what sort of tempting costume she could do, trying to draw ideas from other couples she saw. She doubted he would agree to it, but she wondered if she could get him to dress as Hugh Hefner to match her as a Playboy Bunny. They'd passed a girl earlier with a cottontail and Anabel had thought it was adorable, not to mention she had, only briefly and while rather inebriated, thought of auditioning to be a Playmate. She had the body and the blond hair, after all, though obviously that hadn't ever happened. Jason would probably kill her if he found out his girlfriend had posed nude and especially now that she was only a walk down the aisle from being married she was glad half the men in the country hadn't seen her naked.
WITH A LITTLE SIGH SHE AGAIN FELT THE excitement that had been growing since he'd first asked her a couple months ago to marry him, this time officially. She already had a pretty good idea of what she wanted, she just had yet to find it, and part of her impetus to get his family to fly out to Utah was so she could include Sophie in the dress shopping. She was, after all, mother of the groom and a part of the wedding party. She deserved to come with the rest of them. Once they had a date they'd be ready to go and whether this spring or next she knew it was going to be one of the best days of her life. She'd been dreaming of her wedding since she was a little girl and now she was finally getting her big day and sealing her future with him so there were no more ifs in their relationship. It didn't get much better than that; if they could do it tomorrow she would in a heartbeat.
AS HIS ARMS SLID AROUND HER WAIST SHE relaxed in his hold, her body molding against his as she gazed up at him with a look that was adoring but with a glint of desire behind it at the feel of his hips against her belly. She felt like she was really his when he did that and as though no one could pull her from his grip, physically or metaphorically. No one, ever, had made her feel half that ok and accepted and loved and she didn't think anyone else ever would be able to and it certainly helped that he lit fires within her no one else ever had. No, she was not proud of who she had been, but at least it made her appreciate how he was with her and regardless of how many men she had been with he was the only one that mattered because he was the only one she loved.
IN AGREEMENT OVER ASKING HIS PARENTS TO come out for Thanksgiving, Ana pulled back and began walking with him toward the corn maze. Things would probably go fine, at least between her mother and his parents. Sure, Mariana was high-stung, but she was also excessively awkward with strangers and she resented having to talk in English, so it was doubtful she'd say much to anyone but her boyfriend and Ana. Of course, if something did come up the Irving's had another thing coming. Annie was exactly like her mother when it came to arguments; she shrieked, swore, and slammed things before falling into one of the most tense silences a person had ever experienced. Luckily Jason could be just as passionate over an issue as she was, though he wasn't half as loud at fighting as she was. Really, she wasn't sure she'd ever heard him raise his voice at her, though none of their arguments had been anything particularly deep enough to entice more than a day of passionate hatred. The way they fought it was little wonder Jason and Ana usually resolved their differences before the day was through.
THE SOUND OF HIS BOYISH LAUGHTER made the corn maze completely worthwhile, no matter how much she wanted to get out of it and go home. Her eyes rolled at his revelation about the corn maze, laughing at him, "Well, duh," she teased as he led her through the shafts of corn. She shrugged a bit when he said they wouldn't really mind that her mother was in a non-committal relationship. The way she saw it, though they might not say anything, they might still make assumptions about her mom and consequently about her. No one meant to do it, but most everyone did. She nodded her head a bit when he said they'd have to warn that the suave man was not her step-father. Lord help them all if they mentioned something marriage related in reference to them.
GAZING AT THE SECLUDED LITTLE SPOT THEY had discovered, she smiled at his smirking face, giving him a rather friendly kiss, though as soon as she felt the urge to lean closer and not let him go she shoved it back down and pulled back. She snickered a bit when he teased her, his hands slipping from her slim hips to her thighs. She almost wished he wouldn't pick her up. It would most certainly not make him any easier to resist. Just giving into it would make for a great joke, at least unless they got caught red-handed. They would make an amusing addition to the Salt Lake jail on Halloween, a partially undressed French Maid and a disheveled doctor. She laughed when he kissed her again and suggested they get out of the maze. An edgy little laugh escaped her, "Sounds good to me."
EVERY MINUTE FELT LIKE A YEAR AS THEY journeyed through the maze before finally emerging beside where they had entered. Annie took the bag of candy corn with a happy little smile at the woman handing them out. She laughed as he pulled her back toward the parking lot, her little legs having to move rather quickly to keep up with him. She nearly doubled over with laughter when he asked her if she was ready to go home yet. "My two favorite things in one night. Am I a lucky woman or what?" She slunk past him to slip into the car, sharing his shiver at the near contact. She could think of few times she'd ever felt lust like this, rivaled only perhaps by their first times together, before and after their break-up, and that night in the kitchen. Buckling her seatbelt she undid the little orange ribbon on her cellophane bag of candy, popping one of the pure sugar triangles in her mouth as a diversion from her want. Her ears perked at the song on the radio, a smirk crossing her lips before her eyes slid over to him and she laughed, taking in his look. This was going to be one interesting night, trying to make up for lost time.
SHE SLIPPED FROM THE CAR AS SOON AS IT was in park, leaving her heels by the door to grab later. Normally she took her shoes upstairs due to her fear of bugs, but she figured it easier to get rid of them now rather than trying to kick them off on the way upstairs. She stepped into the house to get away from the chill of the garage, lingering for a moment until he joined her. She leaned close as he pulled her against him and pressed his overeager lips to hers, a muffled little moan meeting his tongue. One of her hands curled in his hair while the other ran down his front, fumbling with the obnoxious square buttons before giving up and instead pulling his shirt out of his pants, about to slide her fingers beneath it when the heat was broken by his laughter against her mouth. She sighed as though pained as he moved his lips to her ear, unable to keep the dirty little smile off her face at his words. "Well," she purred, that wild side of her coming out in her voice, "We can't have that, now can we?" She grinned as he lifted her up, shifting so her hands were around his neck and her legs wrapped around his waist, breathless at the feel. Her blond head dropped, kissing the soft skin of his neck as he moved them to the stairs, helping her down gently, though she was almost willing to risk it just to stay like that, almost.
A SMILE CROSSED HER LIPS AS HE SWEPT HER up into his arms and carried her to their bed, rolling onto her side as he dropped the white coat to the floor. She shivered a bit at his words as he lie down beside her, giving him a short kiss before pulling back to answer, "Well this corset is making it awfully hard to breathe," she told him against his lips with a smile before covering them again. She let him loosen it, it was no more complicated than untying a shoe, while she undid his tie and slipped it from his neck. When he could do no more with the black ribbon she pulled her lips from his long enough to writhe from its restraining hold, tossing one of her little legs over his hip. Pressing her hands to his chest she pressed him onto his back, lifting her entire body on top of him. She sat there for a moment, her bare chest already rising and falling as she gazed down at him. "You know, I never got to third base at all," she panted as she undid the final buttons on his shirt before trailing her fingers down over his skin, hungry to touch.

“NOT AS LUCKY AS I AM,” he retorted at her comment, reaching over the center console to rest his hand on her leg. How he wished he had a back seat, though if he did, he knew even that wouldn’t be enough for the night, not the way they were feeling. If anything, it would make his want for her even stronger since they’d be so restricted in the confined space of the vehicle. The best part about being so confined was that there would be no way for them to really pull apart; they would be as close as the car would let them for as long as they were feeling that heat. That he just might like.
HE SMILED AS THEY MADE OUT right inside of their door, his tongue teasing hers as he heard her moan, his arms tightening around her as she did so. The tension on his hair from her hand made his breathing become a bit heavier, his hands drifting up and down her sides. His eyes opened as he felt her tug his shirt out from his pants, mocking the moan she had made only moments ago as the fabric brushed against him for a brief moment. It was sort of funny how he just wished her clothes would disappear, knowing she felt the same by the way she had given up on his buttons. Just by the way things had been going from the start of the evening, he figured it would be a long night. Not that he was complaining.
A WARM, WANTING LAUGH SLIPPED FROM Jason as he laid beside his fiancé, his lips pressed against hers. “Well we‘ll have to fix that,” he said smoothly at her comment about her corset, his slim fingers slid down her sides and around to her back as he worked the string on the corset loose, sighing as she undid his tie. He definitely enjoyed it when she would use it to control him, even if it was simply to pull his face down closer to hers. His bushy eyebrows rose as she wiggled her way out of the restraining piece of clothing, a little groan escaping him as she pushed him down. It was simply hot when she took control, at least that was what he thought. His fingers slid across her sides as she worked his buttons loose before they drifted down to the top of her skirt, wanting it off, pausing as he heard her words. “You‘re right, we can‘t have that,” he said, repeating her words from only moments ago. Sitting up, he shrugged his way out of his dress shirt, tossing it on the floor beside the lab coat.
A LITTLE SMIRK CROSSED HIS FACE as he watched her bare chest already rising and falling and he slid his hands up her back, pulling her closer to him as he remained sitting up so he could press his lips to hers again. One of his hands drifted down and slid over to her inner thigh, sliding her leg from around him. Once she was off of him, his fingers slid underneath the top of her skirt, more than ready to take it off. “Mmm,” he breathed, his lips kissing any part of her bare body they could reach. The fire that had been lit hours ago was burning even more intensely now that they were actually back home in their bed, but he wasn’t exactly in the mood to just make love and be done. No, he wanted to keep fueling the fire until neither one of them could take it anymore, though with the way they were it usually didn’t take long to reach that point.
CHANGING THEIR POSITIONS, HE MOVED HIS legs so he was straddling her, his fingers brushing down her arms until they came to rest on her wrists, his fingers wrapping around them firmly but gently so she was unable to move them. He lowered his face to hers, first kissing her forehead, followed by her lips, jaw bone and collar bone. His lips parted, curved up into a slight smile as he carefully nipped her neck, pulling away after as he wasn’t quite sure what sort of reaction to expect from her; he was feeling much bolder than he usually was when they were in bed. Letting her wrists go, his hands finally worked her skirt off, his lips kissing her stomach as he did so.
AS HER SKIRT HIT THE FLOOR, he stretched out beside her, a hand sliding in between her legs as he felt the odd feeling of the fishnet leggings along his fingers. The other hand ran through her hair, brushing a lock away from her face. His eyes looked into hers, the mixture of love and lust in his that only she could bring out. Giving her a slight smile, he kissed her again, his tongue toying with hers as his fingers brushed against her. A soft moan escaped him and he pressed his body closer to hers, pulling his lips from hers to kiss his way down to her belly button, slipping his fingers beneath the tights to pull them from her legs.
SITTING UP BESIDE HER, HE COULDN’T keep his hands off of her almost-naked body, running them over every inch of her. “Roll over,” he murmured quietly, his teeth grazing along her ear before he pulled away, flashing her his boyish grin. When she was on her stomach, he moved one leg over top of her, his hands resting at the top of her underwear. Leaning forward, he kissed her neck as his fingers started to rub her back, working his way up her spine slowly. He leaned forward again, his lips lingering on her neck as he moved to lay beside her, his hands still massaging her back. It was something he wouldn’t mind, he knew that, but he also knew that if he did something she particularly liked, it wouldn’t be long until his jeans were on the floor.

IT BROUGHT A LITTLE SMILE TO HER LIPS TO hear him groan as she rested herself just above his hips. He had made it clear he liked having her on top the first time they'd been together and since then she'd kept doing it. She had found she liked taking the reins, for as long as he'd let her. She sighed as he ran his fingers up and down her sides, caressing her skin as she undid the final buttons on his lavender shirt, unable to keep from voicing the thought that had just occurred to her. She laughed a bit when he repeated her words, covering the little shiver than ran up her spine at the thought of his touch where she'd never really felt it before, sliding into his lap as he sat up to take the shirt the rest of the way off.
HER PETITE LITTLE LEG WRAPPED AROUND HIS hip again, her heel resting against his butt. She smiled as he pulled her closer and kissed her lips, her eyes shutting at his warm gentle fingers against her pale back. She inhaled sharply as his hand slid onto her inner thigh before slowly lifting herself off of him and dropping onto the mattress, her back arching a bit as his lips made contact with any bit of her they could. She didn't know what had come over them but she liked it, wishing it could always be this intensely passionate. It wasn't the costumes or any of that, though they had, she supposed, helped, but simply that they missed each other. When the closest they seemed to get for several weeks was a kiss in the morning and tired attempts at snuggling when they were falling asleep, it took its toll.
HER EYES WIDENED A BIT AS HE TOOK HER wrists hostage, not sure what to expect from the gesture as he'd never done it before. Tonight though they both seemed to be feeling a bit experimental, more adventurous than normal. There was no reason to rush when they'd been waiting now for a couple hours just to get alone. She watched him kiss her forehead, then her mouth, her jaw, and lastly her collarbone, expecting his lips to just keep slipping lower, surprised as his teeth gingerly caught the skin before letting it go. She wouldn't have expected herself to like it, she'd always hated hickeys, but something about it was rather sensual, combined with his hold on her wrists. She sighed as he moved his lips to her tummy, his fingers removing the last real piece of clothing she had left and tossing the black lace skirt to the floor.
A TENDER LOOK CROSSED HER FACE AS HE rested his partially naked self beside her and she rolled onto her side, again slipping a leg over his side. She gasped a tiny bit to feel his hand slide into the space, her blue eyes staring at him as he brushed a messy golden lock from her face, the tender look still in her eyes but now it was mixed with unadulterated desire. She smiled a tiny bit to see the same look in his dark eyes. There was no one else in the world she could be like this with, no one else she could love half as much or desire on nearly the same level. As his tongue glided against hers and his fingers gently touched her again, he finally got the groan he'd been trying to get out of her. She smiled a bit to hear his moan, loving how in sync they were. When desire welled for one of them it always seemed to echo with the other within moments. Annie's fingers wrapped in his curls as he pulled closer to her, losing the soft feel as he slid down, leaving a trail of kisses down to her navel, trying to make it as easy as possible for him to get the tight hosiery off, now left in only a pitiful strip of lace.
HER HEAD TIPPED BACK AND HER EYES SHUT AS he ran his fingers over every bit of her he could, her own fingers slipping down his front to start working his jeans off. She paused at his words and the graze of his teeth, looking at him with an aroused, puzzled look. Slowly she rolled onto her stomach, though; that faux-innocent smile could make her do anything. She shuddered a bit as he ran his slim fingers up her spine, working weeks of built up tension out of her back. She shook her head slightly as he moved to rest beside her, thinking for a moment of how lucky she was to have him. Most men would never bother to do something like that that didn't really bring them any pleasure. "Ok, you've earned it," she murmured, rolling off her stomach to give him a kiss, her fingers running down his front again in a tempting way.
CAREFULLY UNDOING THE BUTTON AND zipper, she smiled slightly at him. She'd never done what she was about to do before, at least not with the intention of pleasing him. Not that she didn't know what to do, it wasn't hard to figure out, it just felt kind of strange and more deeply intimate than anything else. Pulling his black jeans down, she smirked, "Someone's excited," she teased him, kissing his stomach as he had done to her, having to move to get them off his long legs. She looked to him again with a tempting vixenish look as she slipped her fingers beneath the elastic on his boxers, inching them down, her lips following them. She smiled to herself as she flicked her blue eyes up as a desiring sound escaped him. Men were just too easy to please. Pulling the fabric the rest of the way off she slid her little body back up along his, kissing his neck as her hand replaced her lips, stopping only to keep him wanting more. Moving her lips to his jaw she smiled a tiny bit as she gazed at his attractive face before kissing his lips. She was officially near the point of desperation to have him completely, letting him know as she moved her lips to his ear, "I need you."

AS SHE GASPED, HIS DARK EYES met hers, for half a second not quite sure if it was a good thing or a bad thing since he had never done anything like that before. The look in her eyes made it clear, though, that she was enjoying it, so he kept going, his lips brushing along her neck. This sort of desire he was feeling didn’t just happen; it had been building and more than for just a few hours. Sure, her costume had definitely helped it along, as did the looks other guys shot her because he knew he was the only one she would ever curl up with in bed again, but their lack of time together had really been what caused these feelings. Though he was still partially clothed, he loved the feeling of her leg across his hip and he shifted his body closer to her, his lips moving from her neck to her mouth as his fingers continued to caress her, his other hand coming to rest on her neck where his lips had been moments ago. His lips curled up into a smile as her groan met his lips, his own following shortly after. Pulling her closer to him, he breathed out a slow, longing sigh as her fingers curled around his hair, wanting to be as close to her as he could be with their few pieces of clothing still on. He slid down her, wanting to get the rest of her clothes off, his lips caressing her body on the way down.
HIS EYES WIDENED A BIT AT the feel of her fingers slipping down his naked torso, for once the two scars on his side not on his mind. Most of the time when he was shirtless, even when they were in bed, he would still feel a slight bit of self-consciousness, but tonight that was the farthest thing from his mind. As he felt her fingers on his jeans, he smiled, leaning into her and telling her to change her position. He wasn’t the kind of guy who was only into this sort of thing simply to please himself, that he made clear as he rubbed the tension from her muscles. He didn’t expect it in return; it was for her own good, not his. At some time throughout his twenty two years, he had heard that the more relaxed a woman was, the better it was for her during sex, yet at the same time, even if that had just been a rumor he heard, he knew a good back rub was good at any time. And it let him get his hands all over her, too. That he absolutely loved. His heart seemed to skip a beat as she kissed him, her fingers taunting him as they slid down his stomach.
JASON'S BREATHING BECAME HEAVIER AS SHE slid his zipper down, simply smiling at her words as she pulled his pants off. “Look at what I have next to me. How could I not be?” he flirted, his hands running through her hair. He sighed as she kissed his stomach, laughing a bit as she had to move to get his pants off, bending them a bit to help her. His eyebrows rose at her seductive look, inhaling sharply as she slid her fingers underneath the top of his boxers. He did not expect her lips to follow her fingers and though he tried to hold it back, he couldn’t help but let out a low groan as her lips touched him. It was an entirely new sensation for him, a feeling that only intensified as her fingers took the place of her lips, his head tipping back a bit, another desiring noise coming from his throat as she kissed the exposed part of his neck, one of his hands coming to rest on her hip, the other on her chest. He could see why the first sponge bath she had given him in the hospital had done what it had, at least according to her. Between her touch and the effect of the morphine, he assumed that she had been right; he had quite enjoyed his time in the hospital, at least while he was on the drugs. He had told her it had been the first time they had ever reached third base, but in all reality, it had been the first time anyone had ever done anything like that with him, even if it hadn’t been intentional at first.
HER WORDS PUT A SMILE ON his face and he pulled his body away from hers for a moment, his lips pressing to her belly button, his tongue playing with the ring that pierced her navel as his fingers slipped under the last bit of her clothing, his lips following his hands as hers had. As the last of their clothes landed on the floor, his lips remained on her body, below her navel, his eyes looking up to meet hers, questioning. He had never done anything like this before, with her or his ex, and he wasn’t quite sure what to expect. Lowering his head again, he squeezed her thighs gently, pushing them apart.
WHEN IT WAS TO THE POINT he didn’t think he could wait any longer, he pulled his lips away from her, kissing her belly button again before he slid away from her, opening his top dresser drawer, pulling out the box of condoms they kept in there. Neither one of them wanted her to walk down the isle with a new family member on the way; he figured it would not make her mother happy and though his parents would be supportive, he knew they’d disapprove, too, especially because they both were still in school. Sliding beside her, he pressed his lips to her jaw, his breathing already quite heavy. Running his hands along her thighs, he slid her leg over his waist again, his dark eyes meeting her blue ones, he slid his hands up her back, kissing her neck as he pulled her close.

A LITTLE SIGH ESCAPED HER AFTER A MOMENT from the feel of his fingers on her pale back, her eyes shutting a bit. She really had never been the type to find massages enjoyable from a stranger, but it was different when his hands were working the tension from her muscles. Though Anabel was never particularly self-conscious, that tiny part of her had been very uncomfortable with her nudity when she had tried getting a massage. With him though there wasn't a bit of that reservation in her. Not to mention he was quite good at it. She was already rather relaxed in general with him, which had to be why he was the only man to ever leave her, well, satisfied, and this was just going to make it even better.
ANNIE SHRUGGED WHEN HE FLIRTED WITH her, smiling a tiny bit. "True," she said with a little smile at him as he ran his fingers through her wavy hair. She was always conceited when in came to her looks; if she every stopped being so vain it would be reason to worry about her. Letting the black jeans tumble to the floor she gazed back up at him with a sultry little look, smiling a bit at how perplexed he seemed to be. The quickness at which his sounds of pleasure came were his giveaway; he was as new to this as her, at least that he could remember. This was much different though since she was trying to make it enjoyable as she moved up him to press her lips against his freckled neck, smiling to herself as she felt his vocal cords vibrate with another groan, his hands touching her body.
THE WORDS SHE MURMURED IN HIS EAR were completely true, feeling his desire had fueled her own, though of course she'd said them aloud for his benefit, too. It sort of surprised her to feel his tongue toying with her navel piercing, she'd never been sure how he felt about it, but then she had to giggle from the ticklish feeling. As he pulled her pitiful excuse for underwear off and looked up at her with an uncertain look she merely half-smiled. She would never want him to do something that made him uncomfortable just because he thought that was what she needed. Honestly Ana had done what she'd done without expectations of him doing anything more for her. She'd lived twenty years without any knowledge of what that felt like, she could stand to go another twenty since she had no idea if it even felt right. Yet when he made up his mind to not make her wait any longer she realized it felt very, very right indeed, her breathy little vocalizations much too eager as his had been.
HER SOUNDS SEEMED TO HAVE THE SAME effect on him as his had had on her and she watched knowingly as he left her for a moment. She would be so happy when they didn't have to bother with that anymore. It wouldn't be such a huge deal if he knocked her up after they were married, they could manage, but right now it would be a problem so she felt it better to use every precaution. She sighed as he rejoined her, kissing her jaw with a gush of hot air against her skin. As he lifted her leg over him she smiled, pulling him closer to her with it, gazing at him with a certain warmness as his hands brushed over her back. She pressed her face into his dark curls as he kissed her neck, pulling her completely up against him. Sliding her hands down over his chest she found herself pushing him onto his back again before he could do the same to her. Pulling her head back she kissed him with a longing sigh, her fingers wrapping in his hair.

A FINAL LITTLE MOAN LEFT HER LIPS AND SHE kissed his sweaty neck, slipping from above him to lie instead beside him, her body resting partially on his. It had ended sooner than she would have liked. Pulling the comforter over them to keep the chill away, she tossed an arm over him and smiled up at him, her chest still rising and falling, breathless. Pressing her face to his chest she kissed it before sliding up him to kiss his lips. "I think that was the best sex I have ever had," she said frankly with a laugh, kissing him again. Maybe they should make a habit of not spending a lot of time together; it certainly made the time they did have together that much sweeter. But then again she had missed everything about him too much to go this long again, not just their time together in bed. No, they couldn't do it again, but it had been worth it in a way.

HE COULDN‘T HELP BUT SMILE AT her three simple little words. They were so much different than ‘I love you’ and it was nice to hear them. He was the type of guy who needed to know he was needed. It wasn’t that he’d leave if he didn’t know that, but it made feel so much more secure. Still feeling rather bolder than usual, he slid down her body, a little smile crossing his face as he heard her giggle, not that she’d be able to see it with his lips against her stomach. Glancing up at her, he asked her with his eyes if she wanted him to go further. He wasn’t sure what her feelings on the matter were and it wasn’t something he had ever done before. He grinned at her half smile, deciding to just go ahead and try it, it wouldn’t hurt to try something new. Hearing her vocalize her pleasure made him smile, happy to continue as long as she was enjoying it. It drove him crazy to hear her vocalizations and his tongue and lips did what they had to to make them more intense as his fingers ran along the inside of her thighs.
HER SOUNDS OF DESIRE DROVE HIM to the point he couldn’t wait any longer, a little groan slipping from his lips before he pulled away to grab their protection. It would be nice when they didn’t have to stop holding each other to go all the way, but he knew it would be far less stressful if they waited until they were out of school to have a child, no matter how excited he was for it. He wasn’t going to just toss their baby onto Annie when he had studying to do or class to go to. That wasn’t the way that was suppose to work. Sliding beside her again, he smiled, eager to get his hands on her again. He laughed a bit as she pulled him closer with her little leg, happy to oblige. A little content sigh slipped from him as she pressed her body as close to his as they could possibly get, all too ready to give into the desire he had felt burning since early in the evening. “Ohh,” he groaned as she pushed him on his back, a lecherous look in his eyes as he took in the image of the woman sitting on top of him. As she leaned forward to kiss him, he wrapped his arms around her, adoring the feeling of her body pressed against his. It was a feeling he knew he would never get enough of. His tongue slid against hers as she kissed him, almost begging her to keep going. Just as she had told him not too long before, he needed her, there was no doubt about that.

AS HE HEARD HER LAST LITTLE moan, he mocked it as she kissed his neck, slipping from his damp body. Jason’s fingers drifted lightly across her back as she laid herself partially on him, a content little sigh slipping from him. How he had wished that had lasted much longer. As she pulled the comforter up around them, he wrapped it around the both of them tightly, not at all a fan of being cold. He could feel his chest rising and falling with hers, laughing to himself at just how in sync they were. It was literally like they were part of each other all the time. When her lips pressed against his, it almost instantly sparked the fire he had thought they just put out, unable to help but laugh a little bit, nodding his head in agreement with her statement. After she kissed him again, he sighed. “We‘re going to have to learn how to keep it down once we have kids,” he teased, his hand drifting down her side. It wasn’t until he had been with Annie that he had become so vocal when he was in bed, but it seemed like the two of them just brought that side of each other out.
“AT LEAST THAT WON‘T BE FOR a while,” he murmured suggestively, talking about their kids as he tilted his head to kiss her. His hand continued to drift lower, once again ending up between her thighs, his fingers touching her gently just to see her reaction. Though he was still out of breath, he wouldn’t say no to starting over. He wasn’t quite sure if it had been the time they spent apart, the want that had been building up since they left their house or simply the way they had been in bed before the actual sex, but whatever it was, it had been simply amazing. His fingers continued to brush against her, a little teasing smile on his face, his other hand tilting her chin up towards him so he could press his lips to hers.
