thedangermagnet I'm around! Haha. I suppose to be studying for my finals, but I really don't want to do that. What're you up to?

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: Hey Jason! Haha I know what you mean about finals, I'm not exactly thrilled about them either...but I guess they're a part of life that we poor students just have to deal with. I actually just got back in town tonight from Nationals, which is why I'm so tired...it's been a crazy few days, lol. So I should be unpacking, or else studying also, but I needed some time to just relax first!

thedangermagnet Oh yes, the worst part of college is exams. At least I'm not in any crazy classes yet. Those all come next year.
How'd nationals go? I'm no gymnast, but I know what competitions can be like. Ones away from home are fun, but craaaazy.

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: Haha what sort of crazy classes are you taking next year? I really need to declare a major already so I can get into the crazy classes myself, lol.
Nationals was AMAZING! Oh my gosh, we had so much fun...it was absolutely insane, but I loved every minute of it! And we finished third as a team, which is actually better than I was expecting; Georgia won, of course, and then came Alabama. We finished on beam, which is always hard; and I was first up which was kind of terrifying haha, but I couldn't believe how well it went! I even stuck my dismount...actually, we were all sticking landings like crazy, which I'm sure played a huge part in us doing so well. I'm just hoping I can compete all-around next year!

thedangermagnet About a zillion science classes. Which means memorizing medical terms, anatomy and not accidentally killing myself in labs. That should be fun.
I don't speak gymnastics, but all of that sounds good. Third place is really good when you're competing with the best of the best. You'll have to show me what you do sometime.

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: Oh, that does sound like fun, haha...reminds me of my chemistry class in high school, definitely not one of my favorites! And as for anatomy, I've learned enough names of body parts, muscles, etc., through gymnastics to know that I don't care to learn any more of them.
Oh, sorry about that lol; I spend most of my time talking to my teammates, so I'm not really used to talking to people who don't get gymnastics! But yeah, Nationals definitely couldn't have gone better, and I'm so excited about it! And yeah, you should definitely come watch us some time! We won't start competing again until next January, but you're welcome to come watch a practice if you want. If Anabel doesn't mind, of course...how are you guys doing, by the way?

thedangermagnet Oh man, my high school chemistry class was crazy. My three best friends were in that class and the teacher made the mistake of putting us at the same table... Oh, and my girlfriend was my lab partner. Another bad choice. Hahaha. If you don't want to memorize body parts, don't become a doctor then. Not exactly fun, but it'll hopefully be worth it.
It's okay, I'd do the same thing when I rode and people would just look at me like I was nuts when I would try to explain something.
I don't think Ana would mind, if she does, she'll tell me, that's for sure. And we're doing great right now, thanks for asking (: I love her, she's fantastic.

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: Hahaha oh dear, I can only imagine how crazy that must have been! That poor teacher...did he/she retire after surviving that year?
Thanks for the tip, guess I can cross that off my list of career options! Not that that narrows it down very much...haha oh well, I've still got some time, right?
You guys are really too cute; I'm jealous, lol. Not that I have the time to date right now haha, first with gymnastics and now with finals coming up.
But yeah, you should definitely come watch us sometime! We're taking a couple weeks off because of finals, but we'll be working through the summer so we don't get too out of shape, so if you're going to be around, feel free to stop by!

thedangermagnet Haha no. She's probably still teaching. But I did learn not to light matches when the gas is on and not attached to the bunson burner...
Aw why are you jealous? Come on, I'm studying to be a doctor and I have time for a steady relationship, you should be able to, too. It's definitely worth it.
Let me know when you start up again and I'll make some time to stop by. I don't have a lot of studying to do over the summer.

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: LOL!! Oh dear...talk about a recipe for disaster! Did they have to call EMS, or just the fire department?
Okay, so maybe it's not entirely the lack of time...I guess I just haven't found anyone yet who was worth the trouble, you know? That's why I'm jealous...not because you have the time and I don't, but because you've found the right person and I haven't.
I'll definitely let you know! I believe we're starting right at the beginning of June, but I think the first week or two will be more of a warming-up period, time to ease back into it so we don't overdo it and get hurt. I definitely don't want any more scares like I had last December!

thedangermagnet Neither. Let's just say we're lucky there's a fire extinguisher in the classrooms. And because it was me and towards the end of the year, I didn't get suspended or anything. It was one of those "JASON, what did you do now?" moments.
Aw well I guess I can see that. He'll come around soon, though. And it's worth the wait.
Did I tell you she was talking about marriage? I mean, it could have been a little, uh, "spur of the moment", but we talked to her mom and ordered rings and everything. I'm excited (:
It's always good not to overdo it. Winter must not have been a good season for either of us; what was your scare?

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: Haha well that's good! It's kind of a necessity in science rooms, isn't it? Especially with guys like you around, I guess. Kidding!
Oh my gosh, marriage? Seriously?? That's so exciting; congratulations!! You'll have to keep me updated with how all the planning and stuff is going, I love weddings and everything about them! Have you set a date yet, or are you not to that point yet?
Okay, since you're not a gymnast I'll try and leave out as much of the technical stuff as possible haha...I was on the uneven bars, working on a new trick, and my hands slipped and I fell. From the way I was swinging, I should have fallen right on my head, and probably broken my neck; instead I somehow ended up landing flat on my back, and wasn't hurt at all except for a few bruises. I still can't explain how it happened, and neither can any of my teammates or coaches who saw it.

thedangermagnet haha relax, we're not even technically engaged, i haven't proposed to her or anything. we were...well, we had breakfast and we were going to go for a swim and like i said, spur of the moment, our plans changed and while we were laying in bed, she brought it up.
oh wow, that's frightening, i'm glad it was just a few bruises. somebody must like you if you know what i mean. sounds like something i'd do, actually. i'm always the unlucky lucky one. something bad happens and then i'm told i was lucky because it could have been a million times worse.

LeapOfFaith316is typing. LeapOfFaith316 says: Oh, I see haha. That's an...interesting time to bring something like that up...I'm sorry, I know it's none of my business what you guys do or when; it's your life, not mine.
I know exactly what you mean, and I completely agree. He was definitely watching out for me, just like He was watching out for you. He's very good at that, I've learned.
Haha, sounds like you'd make a good gymnast...you'd probably be one of those who's always trying the craziest stunts that almost work out but not quite, but still always managing to escape any serious injuries.
