MAY I HAVE YOUR ATTENTION ?
Now, I figured I needed to actually start doing these announcements so everyone can stay in the know of what's going on and hopefully you'll actually read them. =]
The first thing I need to mention is recent activity. I know, this is a tough time of year for students with exams and whatnot, so I'm not too concerned. But if you guys would be willing to log in more often that would be really great. It's encouraging to me, and helps prospective members know we are not dead. Not to mention, you don't have to worry about getting deleted in an activity check.
Next order of business, where have all the rp threads gone? I see only one in the last 25 threads, and it's an IM thread. C'mon guys, post! That's what you joined for right? Start an open thread or ask in the c-box if you don't have any threads. And hey, if all else fails you can always ask me. I'd really love to see the next gossip thread full of juicy stuff and maybe someday get to bring the event threads back.
Hey, have you guys checked out the cool new Adoptable Characters? If not go now! This is not a canon list and it is not just for new members or people that want another character, it's for you guys too. Think up a cool plot and post a request for a new character and hopefully someone will take them.
And speaking of new things, when you get a chance, add yourself to the who's who? list. It would be really helpful so everyone can know who everyone else is.
And on the topic of canons, would you guys be interested in canons? I'm open to making some, but not if you guys don't want them. So give me some input there, please. I also need to know what types of canons you guys think would go over well.
I mentioned before I'd like to bring back events. Yes, I would, however I need to know if some people will actually participate. We've held five or so that were just completely ignored so I'm not going to bother if that is just the case again. So give me some ideas of what you guys want for an event, if you want them at all.
And another thing I got rid of because of no participation are the member awards. Do you guys want them back, because I gladly will, but in order to do this people have to vote. So let me know how you guys feel about that too, if you will.
Well, that about wraps it up. I just figured I'd update you guys on what's happening and get your opinions.
